Epidermal cysts

This is one of the most common benign tumors that occur in our body's adipose tissue.
Fat can accumulate anywhere and is often encased in a thin fibrous capsule, giving it a soft, ball-like feel. If neglected,
it can gradually increase in size and potentially cause pain and functional impairments.
The surgical removal of lipomas is highly recommended.

This benign tumor, similar to an epidermal cyst, forms when the sebaceous glands become clogged. Multiple sebaceous cysts
often have a genetic predisposition and can appear in various small sizes. Surgical removal is necessary.

An epidermal cyst is a benign tumor that forms as the skin grows inward, creating a skin sack and is the most commonly occurring type.
It is painless and appears as a slightly raised, rounded shape with a blackhead opening in the center.
Initially resembling acne, it can gradually increase in size and emit a foul odor. An epidermal cyst requires surgical removal.

Sebaceous Nevus

Melanocytic nevus can occur congenitally and can also develop later in life. The size of melanocytic nevus varies from person to person.
Over time, melanocytic nevus can darken and grow hair. Also, there is a risk they could transform into malignant melanoma.
For larger nevus, laser removal is ineffective, so surgical excision is highly recommended.
We develop a surgical plan based on the size and location of the nevus, aiming to minimize scarring with the most suitable surgical methods.

Sebaceous nevus may initially appear as though there is hair loss, but this is a result of issues with the sebaceous glands that secrete oil.
They are characterized by a bumpy surface and during puberty, they may undergo secondary changes; even 1-2% of these cases can develop into skin cancer.
As the changes not only affect appearance but also decrease skin elasticity, it is recommended to have surgery as early as possible.
